I think it’s much cleaner though. I’ve had enough of the fake leather and wood. Even non-skeumorphic apps need a makeover. I would seriously prefer the clean red and white Calendar app UI as shown in the video instead of this;

I wouldn’t say he defended it, he compared it to HTML5 and stated that HTML5 is still too immature at this point compared to Flash.

I think there’s a possibility for a MacBook refresh, but I think the new iPads and iPhones will come in the autumn. I think they’ll do it like that because more people buy the new products around the holiday season.
