They should’ve used the SublimeVideo player, the same that Twit uses. You can toggle between a HTML 5 and a Flash player, including HD streams.

Maybe a phone app, but the full website works beautifully on the iPad.

Yeah I didn’t mean higher rank literally, but they often see themselves higher ranked. Most officers also think the average person is an idiot so if someone goes against them and tells them what the rules actually are they immediately become annoyed and start annoying you.

Good. If police filimg citizens is okay,, citizens filming police should also be no problem. I know police are working for the law and are a bit higher rank than “regular citizens”, but these kinds of violent and annoying police officers are just stupid.

Creepiness level – Over 9000000000

I think that almost all filmmaking will go digital in the very near future. It’s just way more convenient and faster, and (eventually it will be) far better quality.

I like the Verge way better. The Pocketnow layout is unoriginal, lots of unused space on the right when you scroll down and there are different styles on the website that don’t match. (Glossy rounded icons vs square flat areas, different fonts that look ugly when combined)

This is going to be epic.

Great job. This kind of stuff is also more likely to get picked up by Apple because it uses familiar stuff. It’s one of those things that’s so incredibly simple but nobody ever thought of it.
