If you want something to hate on, by the way, hate on the fact that The Verge’s lack of an edit feature will let people know for all time that I transposed “manner” and “manor” and misspelled"endeavors" and didn’t catch it. Grrrr.

I’m not sure this particular aspect of Cameron’s endevours deserves this much snark.
I know he’s supposedly a real ball-buster as a director – and certainly he’s had his failings as a husband, but in at least Cameron is using the millions he’s made in his life for something that will benefit all mankind. The amount of research and development that went into its construction alone will have wide-reaching scientific benefits, not to mention the actual scientific discovery that will result from its existence.
Even more than that, Cameron’s efforts are encouraging people to get excited about science and discovery again. As Dr. Tyson pointed out in his Verge appearance, that is something that is sorely needed nowadays.
Taking celebs down a peg is fun, I know – but this is an instance where we should be propping him up. If more celebrities with an egocentric streak would apply their efforts in a similar manor, we’d all be better off.
I say go, James Cameron. Screw the haters!

Wouldn’t that mean he’s having the same experience as MOST android phone users?

Even as a library tool I personally find iTunes to be a hot mess. It’s a muddled, un-intuitive and seems to purposly hide things for some reason. I recently gave my old iPod away and was very happy to know I’d rarely – if ever – have to use it again.
