I actually don’t think that The Verge caters for the everyman. Why do they complain so much about screens and stock android when the your mum or dad probably can’t see/don’t care about pentile or non pentile or how S4 with its 2 cores is still better in some aspects than quad core tegra 3.

I think Josh et al are probably more “power user” than most of us. These guys lives and breathe all this stuff and require a huge number of tools probably to run this website the way it does.

I generally think that when someone has an affinity for something there is a possibility that they may be more sensitive to non-favourable opinions. So I’d agree with what you’re saying above too :)

To the OP, do you think that the writing is biased only to Microsoft? If that’s true then you should stay for the other content and then go to a pro-Microsoft news website for all your Redmond based needs.

I like your idea from the swipe bottom to top but I disagree with the menu button. I think its bad design because it just gives developers an easy out to shove in loads of menu options just into the menu button and not actually think about UI/UX design.

My nexus lasts about 4 hours worth of onscreen time. The nexus knows how to sip juice if you turn off sync.
