Congratulations on completely misunderstanding what Nvidia is offering here.

While you are generally right.
“but there will be no security updates”
I’ve had 1 or 2 security patches for flash on my stock Galaxy Nexus. Adobe has committed to keeping the platform secure, and has enabled Google somewhat to do this, they’re just not developing further or introducing new features.

From the article.
“Our strategy on Android is simply to enable quad-core tablets running Android Ice Cream Sandwich to be developed and brought out to market at the $199 price point”
Derp.

I’m not saying you don’t have a point. But that is a vastly oversimplified way to look at it.

If this had a 720p screen like the OneX it would hit the sweet spot for Android devices. As it stands it’s simply “rather great”

Kotor 2 was made be a completely different Developer.
Bioware had stopped working on KOTOR at that point.
They picked it up again to work on the MMO true, but they hadn’t been responsible for the series for some time, so that’s a bad example.

What does the series they produce have to do with it?
Blizzard still invests considerable amounts of money into games outside of the MMO genre.
As will Bethesda.

Yeah, because Blizzard hasn’t spent anything on Diablo 3 or Starcraft 2. Those games look like shit.

Zenimax funds a lot of games that aren’tElder Scrolls games.
Most (I would suggest all) of those games didn’t make anywhere near as much as Skyrim.
I would think if anything this would signal the end of a diverse range of games from Zenimax, they might just end up being “The Elder Scolls Publisher”. There’s still quite a bit of cash to be made with single player ES games, after how Skyrim performed I’m pretty sure they know it too.

I know there’s not much that can be done to topple the WoW juggernaut, but I like to think that this caused a few raised eyebrows over at Blizzard.

Because the costs of shutting down production and having no market presence are a hell of a lot higher than continuing to run, even if they are losing cash in the mean time.

If the app is cross platform so should the functionality.
I should be able to sync a document from my Galaxy Nexus to my iPad (if I had one).
For this purpose iCloud is useless.
