I hate when “privacy nuts” (aka paranoid wackos) demand that features be removed for the rest of us, just because the privacy nuts are so paranoid. Look, if you don’t like it, either don’t buy it or unplug it when not in use. Problem solved.
They aren’t just not providing an app. They are purposefully blocking a particular platform from accessing APIs that they allow every other platform to access. And that is the dominant online video provider in the world whose API they are blocking from use by one particular platform. There’s clear antitrust issues there.
Microsoft isn’t blocking any APIs from developers on various platforms to create office apps or access Office website or whatever strawman your pushing.
