Agreed. The frying pan really does give a satisfying clang.

I hope I get the assault shotgun and the ninja sword. I hate it when I’m just left with the stupid golf club or even worse, the busted guitar.

OS X is no good for anyone for work, except for journalists. Wow, that’s ignorant. But you’re just trolling, right?

We’ve got several of the previous gen MBA’s in the office, and they’re faster than the any Core 2 Duo MBP. Significantly so. So you’ll be fine with this new one.

Can I watch music videos on the MTV app? That would be innovative. LOL

And yet Woz has been one of Apple’s greatest tech evangelists throughout the years, being like a figurehead for them. He’s like the Queen.

I don’t see the company surviving another 20 years if they don’t embrace mobile technologies. As much as my family loves the Wii, the Wii U is not enough of an improvement to spend the high ticket price on. A lot of dedicated devices are going away due to being combined with smart phones and tablets. It’s just the way it is, IMO.
Now that it appears iOS will get Apple-blessed MFi game controllers, and Android will likely too (if there aren’t already), why would I possibly want a dedicated device for just gaming?
An iPad (or Android) tablet with a physical game pad playing Mass Effect or Infinity Blade would be amazing, and negate any desire for a dedicated device. For me, anyway.

I wonder what the system requirements are, i.e. who they’re going to leave behind this time.

Why would you even worry about the Time Capsule then? Just buy the Extreme and attach any USB hard drive. I’ve been running that way for years without an issue.

Agreed. I already pay for iTunes Match, so this is just a really cool added feature I don’t have to pay additional for. I am glad I didn’t start a Pandora subscription.

Two different purposes, IMO. If you’re talking radio, then Spotify sucks. If you know what you’re looking for, then yeah Spotify is awesome.

I call BS. An Atom processor does not “run circles” around an A6. I’ve got an iPad 4 and Clovertrail Win8 Pro tablet sitting right here, and the iPad benchmarks faster, and is noticeably faster.

It also doesn’t help that the selection in the Windows App Store positively sucks right now, compared to iOS’s app store. Once/If that gets better, things will change.

My MBP Late 2008 is still being used daily by a tech in the field, under often nasty conditions. I’m surprised, but it continues to do well. Threw an SSD in, and the performance is quite a bit better.

No, it depends on what you do in those apps. Again, read my post. I’m saying for most home users, LibreOffice is fine. I’m bolding “home” yet again, so people read it this time.
Spreadsheets in LibreOffice is very capable, particularly for home users just doing simple things. Home users generally aren’t doing pivot tables and vb script.
I’ve also yet to run across someone I’ve recommended LibreOffice to, who then says “but does it have a OneNote equivalent?”
