The Galaxy S was a version behind when it launch, in June 2010 with Eclair. Froyo was released in May 2010. The iPhone 4 launched with the latest version. its a nice talking point but its not a apples to apples comparison.

Yep, With new cameras like Black Magic Cinema Camera using thunderbolt I completely agree with that sentiment, but if there are no PCI cards that offer thunderbolt connectivity, as intel has said there won’t be, it will take a number of years.

USB is a great standard for things, but when it comes to externals I use firewire almost exclusively, and eSata on computers that have it. I always buy a firewire PCI card for my PC’s, and try and get a MOBO with eSata.
I don’t get why people are so quick to try and bash a technology and declare one better than the other, Sure USB is nice and ubiquitous, but why limit yourself when possible?

No, Lucas gets CGI, the star wars CGI was amazing, The acting, story, etc, wasn’t.
Unless you really know how to get actors to act, you’re not going to get a good performance in front of a green screen.

It doesn’t make much money off ads either, From the article, “$278.1m in revenue from Android: $158.9m on ads and just $3.8m on app sales” I don’t know why you guys think there is some magical revenue stream that Google isn’t showing us, they are being very transparent, which is a great thing. This number is a lot higher now probably around 700m or so, but with the Moto purchase, it will take a lot of ad clicks to make that 12 billion up, of course that is unless they sell parts off.
