Also, I remember a time when AOL was quite strong in Germany during dial-up internet. This was even though they were spamming each and everyone with CDs with their internet software. Old times.
Winamp already sucked since version 3 of 2002. I was one of the users going back to version 2 and eventually moving over to foobar2k (after some Mac years). Good riddance.
