Thumbs up if you would never pirate again IF Netflix carried all the content you wanted.

Netflix is competing against piracy better than anyone else in my books. Any content provider with a grasp on reality should be working with Netflix, not against them.

Hulu is/was supposed to compete with piracy NOT the cable providers. Now that it is becoming a success greed is setting in. People are watching your shows, with commercials and some paying for Hulu Plus. What more do you want? Pull this move and a good chuck of your customers will switch back to piracy.
