And you still do, because that hasn’t changed. It’s actually better now.
You still have the view title on top and the way those titles animate when switching views give a much clearer indication on how the user is moving. If I’m looking at an artist for example and I press one of his/her albums, the artist’s name slides from middle to the left on the tab bar and the name ‘becomes’ a back button. I don’t see how that can be seen as worse than what it was before. It’s actually a lot better, more fluid and natural. I still haven’t heard a single legitimate reason from the Verge on why the interface is so “inconsistent”. It’s not potentially easier, it is.
