Mojang was asked if they wanted to do the same thing as Nintendo but with Minecraft. If Nintendo has the legal right then so does Mojang. In many ways Minecraft is like virtual Lego so surely this means Lego has every right to claim the revenue on any video showing Lego creations. The only difference is one thing is digital and the other is physical. They’re both copyrighted works.

If that’s not the case, then where is the line drawn and who decides where it’s drawn?

As they’ve chosen to make one OS for two very different types of systems and they need to acknowledge that in a number of ways there needs to be one way of doing something on the desktop and a different way on a tablet for the best results.

Like when right-clicking in a metro app or the start screen, that shouldn’t bring up a contextual bar at the bottom of the screen on a desktop. It should be a drop-down menu by the cursor, because that is simply more convient for mouse use. Microsoft needs to include a lot more tweaks that behave differently on PC’s compared to Tablets for the best user experience on both.

There’s not a hardware reason why the console’s can’t do cross-platform, it’s just the networks are completely separate and PC players versus Console players, in most games, would simply not work.
