I played around with it on a 4th gen iPod Touch, and Axis seems, like Windows Phone, off to a great start, but has a lot of catching up to do.

I still use yahoo mail and Hotmail along with Gmail, and the other clients actually don’t suck. Gmail may be more convienent, but email is just email. Everybody who gushes over gmail needs to calm down. It’s just email.

I use both Pulse for both iOS and Android in addition to Flipboard on iOS, mostly for content from Rolling Stone. Pulse is great for me, it just needs to sync stories between iOS and Android if it’s already been read.

After trying Flipboard on Android: Just as great as iOS. A little glitchy at times, but hey, this isn’t officially out yet.

I think it got pulled unfortunately… unless iTunes seems to be hiding it, or it’s name changed, I don’t see it in the App Store.
