But when it came to showing friends at school or something you couldn’t just pull out your phone and play them or hijack a lab computer and pull them up on YouTube. Tossing them on a CD was the easiest way to share the files, especially when it came to friends who still had dial up.

I guess my comment was more directed at how things went viral. It wasn’t just sharing a link on YouTube, it was sharing the whole damn file.
