Verge needs to clean up their comments. Like…. yesterday. I scrolled and scrolled and scrolled and scrolled for comments about the actual article…. You know, about what 2GB of ram could bring for phones, and even perhaps TV tuners.
All I got was 10 pages of whining and childish bickering between Apple fans and Android fans. Absolutely horrible.

Oh hey look, a low score. Are the Android fans going to crawl all over message board labeling the Verge and their staff satanic devil worshipers spreading filth and lies about their beloved devices?
Naaaaaah…… Step your game up Windows fanboys.

Why are you asking about an ICS upgrade in an article about a phone that ships with ICS? Why are you asking about a Rezound upgrade in an article about the HTC EVO, Why are you asking about the Rezound at all in an article about a Sprint phone (not Verizon).
Why….. dear god why…

I will take functionality over style any day. I don’t walk around showing people how pretty my phone is all day, I am a grown ass man. Micro SD + Dedicated Camera button + larger battery is better than your Lilly White AT&T showpiece.

What about accidents caused by humans? The claim isn’t that using automated card will completely eliminate accidents, the claim is that there will be less accidents than there are now. Even with this technology in the state its in now, it is very obvious this will result in less accidents.
Less accidents == better == improvement.

That you think today is anything other than a good day for Google just shows you have not read enough. Alsups stand on API’s has be so ridiculously clear that its insane, and Oracle has been reduced to pennies in the form of Statutory damages ONLY. And then there’s the possible mistrial.
This has been a tremendous day for Google. At best the API’s aren’t copyrightable and they walk away clean and free while Oracle grits their teeth. At worst Google pays oracles a hand full of bucks and walks away, and Oracle grits their teeth.
This is not the outcome Oracle wanted.

I dont think we are, if we were, you would have read the first part of that sentence, and took note of the words “Strong impression”. You also would have read the remainder of the paragraph that you conveniently cut off that gives the impression that the Jury was more than ready to vote Google.
Make no mistake, the one hold out is for Oracle, without that one juror Google wins this, anyone following the case would know that by now. Come tomorrow that one juror folds and Google will take this half of the case by a landslide. Then the EU ruling that API’s cannot be copyrighted will enter the field and Oracle will begin to buckle at its foundation.

Except they are making money, and you are an idiot who cant read a financial statement.

"To put it simply, LG Electronics was saved in the first quarter by its sales in smartphones and televisions. I think the company has its worst times behind it and will see gradual improvement in profit throughout the year,"
Its mobile communication division, which handles the smartphone business, continued the quarterly winning streaks in profit for the second straight quarter.
Thats why they aren’t discontinuing Android phones, they are making money off of them. And thats why Windows phones are being killed off, because they AREN’T making money off of them.
This is logic a 5 year old could figure out.
