Could it be that after 10 years of refusing to take my money I will finally have the ability to pay for the shows I watch? Innovation!

The American chipmaker, which has been Intel’s understudy in the x86 market for decades,
That’s a bit of an unfair characterization considering that AMD invented the x86-64 instruction set and licenses it to Intel.

Thanks for the explanation. I do have a further question though. What happens to the private key when I back up my iDevice to iCloud? I’m guessing it should not be part of the backup?

Can someone with more knowledge about encryption answer me this:
I am able to decrypt and see my iMessages with (something derived of) my Apple ID password. Apple can reset my Apple ID password to whatever it wants if I forget it. How is Apple then not able to decrypt my iMessages? Would that mean that when I change my password myself, I won’t be able to get any old iMessages from iCloud because I can no longer decrypt them?

I can’t believe that in a hundred comments no one mentioned that there are not “three screen sizes and four resolutions” in iOS. There are four screen sizes, and five different resolutions.

Yes, why the righteous indignation when the privacy of your fellow citizens is allegedly violated on a massive scale by a foreign power. The audacity!
No American leader would ever be annoyed by that.

I think having to support two different color schemes in their apps is something developers would need to know about in advance. If that were the case, we would know about it by now.
