I have a Note II with CM10.1 and I can get upwards of 6hrs of screen on time and around 19+ hours of total usage out of the thing. With Samsung firmware, I actually take a hit in battery life, even with all the features like “Smart Stay” turned off. The only thing I don’t like is that the Mali drivers for CM cause a bit of screen tearing in certain situations, but it’s buttery smooth for the most part.

I think they’re talking about Intel XGold basebands. Intel had nothing that would compete with ARM CPU’s in power consumption in 2007, since they sold their ARM licenses to Marvell in 2006.

So wrong, but I’ll admit… iOS versions DO look better. Mostly. Ex: Google Maps. Looks awesome on iOS, IMHO looks great on Jellybean, and the Android version performs better. Gmail. Looks great on iOS, but it definitely works better on Android.
