I have to agree. On DJ/Production quality system, you can hear the difference. I have 320kbps and 192/256kbps versions of some songs, and you can hear the difference. Mostly in the upper highs and bottom lows. Unless your music has been leveled (Stop the Loudness Wars, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcKDMBuGodU )

Actually I do and tell everyone I know to do the same. IE9 and 10 are way more secure than Firefox or chrome, mostly because the people creating the new exploits are ignoring IE. Unless you use those browsers for the add-ons or plug-ins, make the switch. Personally, I hate Firefox because it updates every week and only seems to break more than it fixes, and Chrome is a resource hog with its fake “sandboxing”

You could play NES, SNES, N64, PS1, Genesis ROMs on it pretty well via Bluetooth controller. (if you have the real cartridge, blah blah blah, legal mumbo jumbo, etc.)

But seriously, if you don’t know what to get her, this will be the best windows 8 device. Tablet and desktop in one. >5lbs, touchscreen, kickstand and dock-able. Windows 8 has some of the best built-in security (if you use IE10), and an app store that is growing quickly.

Way faster… you can tell it is a beta because some of the UI elements do have some quarks, but even the quarks are smooth and fast.

If the would be assailant didn’t have 4chan, we would be looking at an article about a school shooting in the Nederlands. Instead 4chan “helped” catch him. 4chan is a pretty nasty place, but can do good and can help the world in its own way.

It is just like have an app (which the desktop has become) run at start-up. I know some of my friends don’t like windows 8 because there don’t see there desktop first (they’re fools).
