AOKP has two things that I go back every time.
1. You can disable that annoying “headset safe volume” popup, although I don’t know if that’s even an issue in US. It is tied to some law in Europe.
2. When you’ve got an empty notification bar you will pulldown settings every time. This sounds stupid and small, but it’s really convenient.Nav ring targets are pretty cool too, put I think PA has them too.
Don’t buy into “Halo” PA stuff yet by the way, it’s in alpha now and it’s kinda gimmicky right now, not much use for it really.

Check Youtube for people with Miracast boxes, it still looks laggy. Your best bet is DLNA, as said above try XBMC, it works as DLNA receiver and Android remote control apps are beautiful.
