Admittedly it isn’t completely fixed, but its better. You also don’t have to deal with it; The checked icons are desktop programs that I’ve made tiles for myself. It isn’t the best method, but it looks nicer IMO.

Yup, that’s definitely a Start menu. If you’re gonna try to prove a point, try doing it without using year+ old software (This was taken from the Dev preview, if I remember right).

Been a huge gripe of mine for a while. I dunno what it is, something has always seemed off about the title bar, whether it’s the font, the placement, or the coloring. Don’t get me wrong; I love the hell out of W8 (I’m typing this on a Yoga 13), but there are a bunch of small interface quirks like this that just kill me.
