My iPhone 5 is my absolute most prized possession, but then again most of my Apple products are. I save all of the boxes, and refuse to sell my phone when finished.

That’s not entirely true. While the image doesn’t animate in the photos app, it is still a .gif. If you were to save a .gif to your photo library, and send it to a friend via iMessage the image would animate in the message. I’m not sure why iOS does that, but to be fair Preview on OSX acts the same way.

Twitter is my most used, followed by Snapchat, Instagram, Vine, Facebook, Youtube, and Google+ respectively. I use Youtube purely for watching videos, though I’m sure it counts as a social network. Google+ I use even less, as it is merely a video-chatting service for me. I am a fairly religious Twitter user though, so it is rightfully throned as number one.

You can actually set OSX to minimize windows into the app icon, instead of creating those frustrating little blocks. I find this works so much better, as I don’t have to struggle to see which block is which.
System Preferences>Dock>Minimize Windows into Application Icon
That should fix your dock troubles!
