I can see why Nintendo wouldn’t want people making money from ad revenue from playing their games but I don’t think this is a good move. I have bought at least 4 games that I wouldn’t have gotten if not for watching someone’s play through of it.

Many of the higher viewed and higher quality videos are from people who make a living (or at least supplement their income) from these playthroughs.
