http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1wps_vDebs — Flop City at large. But having Vinny Del Negro as a coach should be punishment enough. If they pick up his option by next Friday, kiss Chris Paul goodbye. Now if they get Nate McMillan or even Mike D’antoni, they could be great. They still won’t get passed OKC or SA but would a top team in the conference, maybe dethroning the Lakers.

Android has an amazing version of NBA Jam on the market — ported, pretty intuitively, to mobile. It’s about 5 USD but really fun. It’s helped my depression since my Grizzlies got knocked out by the Clips (but no way in hell were they going to beat San Antonio anyway, maybe 1 game at home).
Beating other teams and completing challenges unlocks classic players (e.g. Magic Johnson, Larry Bird). Multiplayer hasn’t worked for me but hopefully it gets a fix.

I beg to differ — http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_w5JqQLqqTc
If Samuel L Jackson isn’t right, then all hope is lost. And Pulp Fiction meeting The Boondocks automatically legitimizes it!
Anyways, I always felt Nielsen benefited in their analyses of TV ratings since it can’t be quantified so easily. Mobile apps, on the other hand, are easily accessible by iTunes, Play Market, developer info, etc. And I’ve always suspected television producers and networks had an incentive to rely on questionable data just so they can inflate the figures per the expense of advertisers. But who knows (which is sorta the point)?

Considering they didn’t give users a clean slate before instituting this new restriction, if you’re a constant flasher like myself, you’re fucked. It’s a nice token of stupidity considering they didn’t take the very minimum act of warning users before arbitrarily restricting them for an entire bloody year.
And the restriction itself doesn’t seem very wise. I’ve invested, over the years, in: an HTC Aria (no entries, deauthorized beforehand), a Samsung Captivate (3-4 entries from wiping considering the OEM refuses to provide updates), B&N Nook (1 entry), HP Touchpad (1 entry), and a LogitechRevue (1 entry). Add your computer that has to be authorized also and you approach the limit quite fast.
In all, it seems to discourage users from investing in their ecosystem! And, considering the status of rooting and all that isn’t expressly encouraged (in use with their services and deviating from standard use), I don’t expect an accommodation outright since I’m in the minority but at least give the courtesy of warning me and don’t punish me for using your damn products.
I was considering a Windows Phone for my upgrade in July — this pretty much thrusts me into the competition’s arms. Even though Zune has a similar, though noted as not being as stringent (only 30 days), this just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I don’t appreciate being punished for investing in an ecosystem and expecting to use it at my discretion — especially when I’m not even breaking company policy by sharing accounts.
