This industry moves so fast it's really hard to tell. That's why I need a name that's cutting-edge, like CutCo... EdgeCom... Interslice.

Ultimately it’s just for connecting with those who have BBM and only use BBM – think older family members

Agreed. Currently Google has the best chance to reach the greatest number of users which it will no doubt attempt with its new unified messaging service we all expect to learn about tomorrow :)

Right, that’s the kind of response I was expecting.
In this situation, however, I think Google stands to pull some users away from Apple when people find themselves using Google’s apps primarily and finding it to be a superior experience – they then suspect their overall Google experience could be that much better on a “Google phone.”
BB sending BBM to rival platforms seems to be helping those who already have a BB stay connected with more friends and family. For those of us with other platforms already, it’s just a bonus to be able to chat with other BB friends… not much incentive to pull us to BB10.
Then again, perhaps I’m mistaking this as attempts to gain marketshare and really it’s just about expanding the volume of that service and gaining some mindshare along the way.

My goodness, it appears people only read titles and not bodies. I did ask some questions FYI

Ziegler is the die-hard Fast & Furious fan… legitimately. While I don’t think anyone will proclaim the F&F series to be thought-provoking or conceptually deep… It’s also entirely fair to appreciate action movies for the sake of action movies. Especially if you’re an auto-enthusiast.

No temptation to leave my Nexus. Love love love stock android. If you cab sit tight until either the be Motorola phones or Nexus 5 come out I would recommend it. Especially if the camera is important to you I have a feeling the Nexus 5 will be packing something special. Be prepared to wait another 6 months though.

Thanks for the info, it’s greatly appreciated. Since the requirements for BF4 have not yet been posted, I suppose you’re right in that I’ll have to determine what GPU I want first and then choose the case based on that. It needs to have plenty of cooling power, but I positively love the look of your V3. I can definitely go with an external DVD drive and that probably actually makes most sense the more I think about it.

Awesome. I’m fairly confident Chris gets some Troll-face action going but have yet to find it. It’s an entirely possible it was another episode, but I only recall them doing it in 1-2 episodes max.

This all seems fairly sensical for a number of reasons.
To end the debate on “Android fragmentation” Google needs the majority of users to be on the latest version of Android before launching major updates that take substantial time for making modifications. 4.3 would ensure by next year the majority of Android smartphones are caught up.
Everyone wants a radical UI change, but why? I mean, it’s natural for people to want to be on the cutting edge of design, but Ice Cream Sandwich was such a leap forward that I think refinement is what’s needed. Jelly Bean brought the much needed Project Butter which should continue to be a priority. The next goal should be to maximize battery life and continue to tweak portions of the UI towards a more “Googly” (Google Now) style interface.
Unfortunately this will put Google in a tricky position. With the expectations set for Android 5.0, no doubt there will be those who are disappointed with a 4.3 update. I attribute this to the ever-expanding notion of “tick-tock” development perhaps Intel best represents. A major framework change is made followed with a minor refinement, etc. That being said, I have every confidence Google will be adding some impressive features to 4.3.

Awesome that’s more or less exactly what I’m looking to do. I want it to be:
With enough oomph to play BF4 on Ultra settings and I’ll be a happy man :)
What are the best small cases that can achieve what I want in your opinion?

Thanks for the input. I also would prefer to have a powerful desktop and a portable laptop. Something lightweight with stunning hardware. I’m thinking the Pixel… if only it were a bit more affordable… nonetheless I’ll start with the Desktop.

Thanks for the input. I definitely recall all four of you were there, and I’m pretty sure it was after September 2012. Will keep searching.
