where u shopping? I brought three win 7 licenses for the local equiv, including sales tax, of 150quid. And NZ is ripped off by most tech companies, esp microsoft.
Naw, itunes on osx is still a pig. Their software on ioS is ok, but has issues. I find iBooks decimates my battery life on the phone, even if just ‘in the background’
I dont need it to backup my phone, but i certainly need it for the ipad, as my account runs out of data. Never mind syncing is stuck with itunes, as I am not giving apple money for itunes sync, nor does apple cover my movie collection, nor does it provide any tv shows for me to download, so if i have them, thye must be synced. Or if I want to connect other files into VLC (still have it).
Never mind I use itunes daily with my appletv to stream shows to *not available from apple store, and onwards.
RT vs Win8 is one thing, saying Atom vs ARM are equal for software options or even ecosystm is comical. Atom has the same software AVAILABLE versus every other x86 computer available. How it runs that software is irrelevant for ecosystem, its applicable to system performance.
and yes, I remember the comment on chrome, and I said that was bizzare to start with. I have multiple atom computers, all running chrome perfectly well. Well, until you go to theverge homepage, which is what they show on the video review ‘stuttering’. The verge homepage makes my macbook, my work core i5, my ipad and phone all stutter to different extent. Chrome is still the lightest browser to run on an atom.
Are they ranking ecosystem or software scores on how a computer “performs” on the verge homepage? or are they ranking software/ecosytem on avaiilable software, and perforamcne of the computer on the hardware performance..
The verge dont always to put ecosystem in windows tablet reviews, but other win8 reviews have had “software” as 6’s (Yoga 11), 9 (surface pro), 9 *HP spectre XT), but also when tyey do list ecosystem its 6 (Lenovo tablet 2) or 9 (surface pro)
