I agree. They lost me when they said it will use VOIP for all calls. I don’t think they will count voice minutes as data but I do fear that the phone will have to be some special build like Republic Wireless has. My guess is that the battery life on this won’t be good…and since VOIP is necessary to talk, you can’t use battery saver apps that kill the mobile data.
..and that doesn’t even take into account that Sprint (and I like Sprint in general) would be the worst possible data network to carry VOIP.
