I do think that Blackberry’s decision to release a BBM app is definitely a good move on their part. First of all, they have instant recognition in terms of name and branding. Even with the popularity of Whatsapp, I feel that their Android app isn’t really as well designed as it should be. If Blackberry can do a decent job on their UI, I think that they might even lure away some iMessage users as well, given its less than ideal integration.
