It doesn’t. The camera is completely different than the One’s.

I was on Phone Arena and quoted from a site called Rekombu. (or something like that)

But that quote explains how Sense 4.0 can exist without certain features, like ImageChip/ImageSense.

In all likelihood, this phone was going to come out with 3.6 before they decided to start over on Sense 4.0. That would explain previous leaks that had the four capacitive buttons. It would also explain why the newer camera is missing. (this hardware was frozen before HTC decided to implement ImageChip)

HTC never said that. People assumed it.

This was their response:

“HTC Sense brings a variety of new software enhancements to HTC One, some of which utilize the latest hardware innovations, meaning not all functionality can be introduced to older HTC Devices. With that said, we are looking to bring a Sense 4 software update that includes as many of the enhancements as possible to a variety of our new devices.”

I should note (since I can’t edit my previous comment) that ImageSense requires ImageChip. Since it doesn’t have one, it can’t have the other.

You’re confusing two different things. ImageSense is the software, ImageChip is the image processing chip. It has neither of them.

There’s a reason why HTC didn’t mention either of them in the press release…

They’re a package. It isn’t getting it. The camera is exactly the same as what’s on the Rezound, and it doesn’t run the ImageSense software.

Nope. It has the same camera sensor and lens as the Rezound and its cousins. (f/2.2 instead of f/2.0)

The code would purposely be shielded from Apple’s prying eyes. The only ones that can view it are the court’s experts.

1) That first lawsuit is a trade dress lawsuit, which accuses Samsung of purposely copying apple’s design ethos to confuse and mislead consumers. That is a completely different part of IP law.

2) They only added the Nexus. But previous iterations of Android and Android skin’s certainly infringed on Apple’s design.

3) Name me one OS that existed prior to the iPhone that had this effect. (here’s a hint: you can’t, because it didn’t exist)

‘Most’ of the cases are not counter-suits. Many of them are attempting to use SEPs in an illegal manner, which is why Samsung and Motorola are now under anti-trust investigation.

Patents ARE vetted before they’re granted. You should learn how the system works.

Oh, and did you think that the reason the prior art Samsung presented didn’t help them was because it was actually prior art? Just because YOU think it should have helped them, doesn’t mean it actually should have.
