So isn’t it smart for a person to buy a Mac or Windows pc should this come to it which can run native programs and then just install the Chrome OS launcher on it negating the need for a full Chromebook? I don’t see Google’s reasoning here except they know Chromebooks and even ChromeOS will never catch on.

More like diminishing returns. Hi res on small screens is the new GHZ wars. Good to push forward but grossly overrated to the needs of most consumers. Keep it 1080p and make them more affordable.

Nonsense! Did you miss the part where over 8 million Samsung tabs were sold last quarter? And yes i see as many Samsung tabs as iPads these days. Even a few Nexus 7 and a even Windows 8 tabs occassionally.

They will announce it June and release in November while making it available in the US and Canada only after which it will be released to 2 or 3 markets in March 2014. N wonder they cannot sell even a million Surface devices per quarter.

I have the Galaxy tab 7 plus and it’s actually a nice device but the only use i have for it is playing DH Poker. After a factory reset it does not even take Sim cards any more.
