Weird I don’t notice a difference with it off or on. I’ve tried both on my Galaxy Nexus and location services doesn’t affect my battery at all.
Can’t speak on iOS though.

Serious as possible. It’s pretty stupid but that does the trick. Just switch to a stock wallpaper and everything will be smooth again. I sure hope 4.3 is polished unlike 4.2 was. It was a buggy shithole.

Not true. Every time your device begins to act sluggish just change the wallpaper. This is a fix I found because my G Nex also slows down sometimes.
