Man I wish bezels were like that or even smaller. It would make for the perfect footprint. The Galaxy Nexus being at 135.5mm in height, I think if phones had small bezels like the concept they would be perfect for the hand and keep the same big screen. 127-130mm is the perfect height.

I’m having trouble posting pictures on here but I took some out in sunlight. It took me awhile to get a decent shot but I finally realized that when in very bright places shutter speed should be set to a lot faster. lol Most of my shots were bright as hell. I was like “what the heck am I doing wrong?”. I adjusted a few more of the settings and finally got some decent shots going.

These are looking better and better. I hope a 13’ comes along later in the year so I can officially make the switch to OS X. Tired of windows updates every week and basic drivers for their touchpads.

Forgot to mention I’ve been reading about a lot though.

I guess I will start on manual then. Believe it or not I still haven’t got my memory card so I can’t start shooting yet. I did go ahead and buy a Tiffen filter, it was only 7 bucks. If I don’t end up liking it, I’ll just take it off.

Thanks for the replies guys. I was looking at the Tiffen filters but my lens is a 18-55mm lens. So I’m guessing I have to buy a 55mm one, right?

And funny thing is, I’m going to get a Mac when they have a refresh this year so I’ll most likely be on Aperture or Lightroom since those are the ones you guys seem to like.

As for lenses, that’s something I will look at when I’m better at it. That 50mm lens looks really good.

Hey guys I was wondering if you could help me out with some things. I just recently getting into photography and got a cheap beginner camera, Canon EOS rebel T3. Now I’m just waiting for my SD card to get here before I start to snap photos.
I just have a few questions. Should I buy a UV filter? And if so, what kind (link)? Also what photo editing software should I use since I’m a beginner? I was going to choose between CS5 and lightroom but if there are any others, suggestions would be highly appriciated!!!

Anyways I hope to soon start taking some photos and posting them here.

HTC is the champ once again. Seems Samsung only lasted last year.
