768 is unacceptable on something like a 15" display. It’s very usable on my 12.5" screen but I would have liked 1600*900 a little more.

I owned an RGB screened HD2 before my Nexus and while I can notice the Pentile grain, I can’t say it irritates me since the high density covers up the artifacts. The Galaxy S screen however is very noticeable in that aspect. That said, my buddy’s One X screen does make me green with envy.

In fairness, they haven’t exactly announced any GS3 for the states anyway.

M4/3 is barely smaller than APSC. Unless you’re a full frame fetishist. Also shallow DoF isn’t always nice. It’s often used as a cheap way of background control.

People keep forgetting that HTC is an Asian firm? And HTC have been improving Sense since it debuted as TouchFLO on the HTC Touch and then became Sense on the HD2 & Hero to what it is now. While I wouldn’t expect HTC to fork Android, their software design in my opinion is far and away better than Samsung has always been even if 3.5 was far over the top.

Well there is also the fact that the Nexus is a high end device. There are no low end Android phones with a stock build like the Nexus. They are also in smaller supply in general.

That’s the price in Japan. I’d expect a price in the States to be closer to $1200 which isn’t too bad considering the performance and application. But what about that 35-100mm?

Windows has had an increased DPI option since forever, I don’t think higher res displays should be too much of a problem. I’d like to see 1080 become the norm for 12-14" and 1440 for 15-17". Don’t really more than that.

Apart from two arguanly useful pieces of software, Verizon hasn’t touched the Nexus. It is largely stock. But updates are delayed since VZ is in charge of dem CDMA and LTE firmware modules.

Blizzard had very little to do with the development of the game. Icefrog pretty much made the game as we know it today and if anything he has the right to the DOTA name. In any case, I believe the Blizzard map was aimed more casually than DOTA2.

I’d say the LOL and HoN communities are just as bad. Especially with the people who ask for early surrender by giving up.

It didn’t have anything feel forced. Most of the Characters naturally skid into their roles. Similarly, the humor was genuinely funny and well timed. It wins no awards for depth, but it still wins major points for fun factor.

You are exaggerating it. According to analysis by Anand, A15 should likely be better than Krait by 15% last time he protracted some values. In any case, both Krait and A15 should be significantly better than A9 and Scorpion due to their wider issue pipelines and faster FP units.
