Well done, Microsoft. Definitely a good call, in my opinion – though I’ve been on Mango since release anyway.

So, would I be able to use this on my new desktop + current monitor? Wouldn’t have to buy a new touchscreen monitor, but could still benefit from the touch-targeted design of Windows 8? Sounds too good to be true. What’s the catch?

Exactly. The issue is not THIS particular situation. Who really cares if she said the Lumia 900.

The issue stems from the fact that this could be happening on various search results – Apple can completely control what results are shown, and what would be hidden.

Does it matter her response to the “best phone in the world” question? No. Does it matter if her responses to other, more relevant questons are being censored? I think so.

All the fanboy arguments will never end – but THIS is what technology is about. Simply awesome.

Very true. I had an iPhone for over two years (with a decent amount of money invested in apps), but switched to a WP about 7 months ago. On top of that, I have a Android tablet.

I feel like I’ve spread myself thin. Although, so far I’ve been able to avoid spending any real money on Android. But yeah – buying a phone now is almost a many-year commitment to an OS and Ecosystem.

If you go to the source images at Engadget Chinese, the 13-inch model looks much better in this regard (image 4, I believe).
