110,000 of people in need is not a large amount when contrasted with Facebook’s user base. Over a few years, it’s possible that this simple move by Facebook to raise awareness could put a huge dent in that number.

Hard drive sizes and internet bandwidth aren’t quite fast enough to accommodate high-resolution audio files yet, but we’re close. If a large influence like Apple (or others) started to support larger files, I believe everything would fall into place. Plus, gizmo fanboys would love to be able to brag that their music collection sounded better than yours.
