This is great and all, but to what end. Honestly, we only have two networks to use these device on, T-Mobile and AT&T, the latter forces you sign a two year agreement whether you bring your device or not. T-Mobile is Spotty and unreliable, and the rest just a bunch of MVNO, splinters of one of the trees. Moreover, AT&T doesn’t part take anymore on Straight Talk.

I live in CT, and presently a T-Mobile customer. Unfortunately for me, network coverage, especially in my house and perimeter is terrible. I may have coverage in the upper level of the house, but not in the lower; if I do have any usually is 2G. Also, IMHO don’t think their are worth the price e.g. $50- for 500/MB @ 4G; $60 for 2G, and $70 for so called unlimited. What’s the purpose of having unlimited, if half the time is unreliable, inconsistent, and unpredictable? Supposedly in June, Verizon going to bump the allotment of data in June, $60 for 2G, and $70 for 4G jumping all over it. Rather pay a little more, and/or get a little less for something that works.

No, you just have to worry about bombs detonation in public places. Yes, we have them here too, they just use pressure cookers.

You are absolutely, correct. However, with T-Mobile you have to be willing to tolerate network outages, inconsistent data speeds, and willing to live with 2G inside buildings. Funny thing is, how this companies get away with deceitful coverage maps. In all honesty, T-Mobile service shouldn’t be that pricey, in respect to the service provided.

Yes we get it. However, Sweden is just a little bigger than California with a population of about 9.6 million. I’m sure not all 10 million have a cellphone. In contrast to the use population and size. Simple greed, and supply and demand- for the US that is.

People, everyday you vote with your dollar, or whatever monetary system you use. The “only” way, Verizon and AT&T are going to make any changes, to benefit us, if we the people use our only vote, money. Verizon and AT&T keep gaining customers hemorrhaging from T-Mobile, and some from Sprint. For those two carriers, to lose 30k customers is not a big deal. AT&T parted ways with Straight Talk, cause everyone was jumping ship and bragging about how much money they were saving, so guess what, now everyone is stuck with T; unless you were lucky enough to snatch a sim back then, or from ebay. Personally, using Ultra mobile, $19 and sticking mostly with Wi-Fi. Couldn’t justify paying V $90 anymore. However, your experience may differ.

The best app is not even mentioned. If you get textfree, you’re able to send sms and/or mms across a variety of platforms, including your desktop browser. Yes, it works with tablets, and you can even allow it to take over as the default messaging app for Android.

Please…don’t let this be true. I don’t “facebook”, and it would ruin my favorite app. At this point, don’t care if they sell to Samsung; not everyone wants to deal with foolish facebook.
