All services on all platforms. This goes for Apple, Microsoft, Google, etc. Let users pick the platform(s) that they want to use, regardless of services they prefer.

And I personally can’t think of any apps that I find to be missing, nor do I care about the better smoothness. But that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist.

Just speaking to the argument that buttery smoothness is really that important to the masses. In reality, its important to some, but not the majority. Not enough for the lack of it to be a dealbreaker.

If buttery smoothness what people really want…then WP would be more successful than it is, and Android wouldn’t be as successful as it is.

Correct. iOS is way behind in features and functionality. Android is behind in smoothness and apps.

Meh. Too many fanboys would promote utter nonsense and bias.

Matte finish like the HTC First would be amazing. Or even rubberized…that technology has to have come pretty far these days…

Only the flagships. Otherwise, it’s just too many devices IMO.

I like the premise of Live Tiles, but I feel like the implementation is poor for many. The weather ones you show are fantastic, but the stock SMS and Email Tiles are…a gross waste of space.

Not without the Sense framework.

A VERY VERY VERY small percentage of users even know what stock Android is. Even fewer actually want it. Most people seem to be happy with Sense or TouchWiz or whatnot. Especially because their respective camera apps are miles ahead of stock Android.

As an Android user and all around tech geek/lover, I’m excited for Ive’s interpretation of iOS. I’ll be keeping up with WWDC just like I did Google I/O.

Flat doesn’t mean boring IMO. It’s different, but different strokes for different folks I suppose.

Live icons aren’t Live Tiles. Similar, but different. I see Live Tiles being more like widgets and icons combined, whereas live icons will just be icons that update something graphically small but significant.

So…you just want a bigger screened device? Not sure what it is about the rumored GN3 that you want?

Based on your thoughts, the S4 wins, no contest. Just taking price out of the equation, the S4 wins for a superior battery, camera, higher PPI, better processor, etc.

Since Android doesn’t natively support the S-Pen, a developer version would make little sense.
Unless you mean a specific TouchWiz enabled GN3 that is bootloader unlocked…at which point I think many of the variants have a bootloader that is easy to unlock.

No, it’s not. My GSII, for example, seemed to have stronger battery life than the Nexus 4 (when in good signal areas).

Brainwashed? No. Sealed batteries aren’t the problem. Look at the RAZR MAXX HD, the iPhone 5, hell, even the new HTC One seems to get great battery life (better than the Nexus 4, at least).

The HTC First is a nice little device…I would actually buy one if I wanted a new, more compact phone. I actually think the size is perfect for everyday use.

I’ve rooted many phones in the past. Which is exactly why I fully understand the process and why I don’t care to do it anymore. I rooted my Galaxy Nexus, a phone I had until December of 2012, so I fully know what I’m doing.
Regardless of how “easy” it is, it’s not worth the time and effort to start mucking around in things to figure shit out.
