Wow, grasping straws are we?
If over-saturation is wrong, and “stealing customers” how come the alternatives don’t do it?
Namely Apple and HTC?
Actually add LG, Motorola and Nokia to that list.

Apple sells one phone and two predecessors (4 and 4S).
Samsung sells many phones and no predecessors.
They have two distinctly different approaches, yet they’re in the same market.
The positive thing about Apple’s approach over Samsung’s is that building one device really reduces your R&D efforts so that you can divert that money to improve your device or for other things (marketing).
Its also better because you can keep fragmentation in check (yes, iOS is fragmented). And if nothing else, you can reduce parts and labour costs due to higher wholesale deals and really stretch out your profit margins.
The negative thing about Apple’s approach is that building one device is a huge gamble.
It can make your competitors steal market from you where you are weak (a better target product). And if your device is not competitive enough, you could lose market where you’re actually leading (there’s no buffer zone from alternative products). Lastly, if your device flops (huge issues in production, marketing, or sales) then that failure hits you hard and hits you early… and next year people still remember your mistake. And in that next offering, your “failed product” still is up for sale as a predecessor option, so there’s the echo effect.
At the end of the day:
-Samsung controls the market and not Apple
-Apple makes more money than Samsung

Half-life of atoms are what they usually do.
What they forget to mention is that under certain environments, atoms are exposed to higher radioactivity which can catalyze the degradation. And the catalyst could then be removed and fluctuate.
Its very often that scientists upon first thorough study find “no evidence” for such activity despite its occurrence, then make estimates based on regular rates of degradation.
Only did one course at uni, and there was a world of difference between the professors and the tutors.
(the professors were more knowledgeable, and the tutors were more skeptical but much more insightful)

You didn’t get it.
They use scientific practices to determine the contents or properties of the material.
Later they cross reference this data to a chart that “estimates” the age.
…however, the chart itself is deduced on assumptions, hence giving you a highly accurate yet inconclusive figure!

Some people have it, there’s reviews online.
I’m still waiting to get one when its specs are more decent:
- Haswell (currently ~6hrs tablet/9hrs laptop mode. Haswell will add at least 1-2hrs battery life)
- Windows 8.1
- Price ($1500 is too steep. $1200 seems fair buy to me, when comparing to Android/iPad/SurPRO/MBA)

How could they?
Carriers want this feature gone.
Otherwise, carriers want enough revenue from this to alleviate “lost money” from their SMS/Voice “products”.
Google is not going to do either of them.
Apple could do iMessaging and get away with it, but Google still has to deal nicely with the carriers.

I think a 900p screen and Core i5 should be the bare minimum for a $799 device.
And in a couple of weeks/month(s), 1080p screen and Haswell should be the bare minimum at the same price.
