Perhaps his comment was directed specifically at Woz. But, that doesn’t preclude the fact that particular vocal segment of public tech discussion collectively proclaim that Apple doesn’t innovate anymore. Whether that comment has merit doesn’t matter, but Apple does have a duty to respond in some way. The point is whether they did so convincingly or accurately.

Google integration.
Inter-app sharing and communication.
Extensive customization ability.
No media restrictions.
Cons:
Lack of updates.
No customer support from Samsung (my GPSNEVERWORKED!)
In retrospect, lower quality apps.
Lack of latest and most exclusive apps and games.
All of my friends had iPhones and iMessage.
A new phone gets released every month, quickening my phones dive into obsolescence.

Probably not. iOS is far from perfect, but it’s stable and I’m very satisfied. While it doesn’t have all the pros of Android, it fixed all my cons.
