Just gave it a try, definitely works. Fetches files at 160k, so might be a turn off for some, but it sounds perfectly fine.
I don’t really see how this is a huge deal regardless. Anyone set on acquiring said music through questionable means will surely already have done so. Certainly this is a slip up on Spotify’s end but it’s hardly going to make any difference in terms of how people listen, acquire and enjoy music as most are set in their ways.
I’ll continue to enjoy most of my music through Spotify Premium, which I just renewed today.

It’s obviously not the ideal solution everyone is asking for, but I’d pick drones over a soldier any day.
As for how I’d feel about drones buzzing about in the sky, I reckon I’d have far more stressing things to worry about if things like electricity is sparse.
