Personally I think the article title is a bit harsh! Employee movements and product failures could be looked at in different ways. On employee movements, they happen everywhere and its disappointing if staff begin to run away because of sales challenges. Nokia is leaping back up, they were down for a long time…! Staff should show some sort of commitment and at least give their organizations a chance…..reasonable chance. If we all start jumping ships cos the skies become grey…hmm!
On the plus side, HTC needs to get a management team that can actually look at the market vis-a-vis their product offerings and find that solution…..invite Nokia to lunch! Like most of the guys here, I love me some HTC…..and regardless of staff departures and poor sales, I still won’t look at Sammy’s offerings….maybe Google’s but def not Sammy’s!
On the ‘First,’ I think HTC should have come to some sort of agreement with FB on decisions surrounding the FB Home been available as a Play store download!!! That is just plain straightforward….but I expect they have learnt a valuable lesson from the episode…all in all, HTC can get back up…..!!!
