Add much as I love Google, and I love it a lot, it can get tiresome to say “OK Google” every time. So wanted to say that I was able to set a reminder just now minus the “OK Google” part.

Whoa! Know when to admit defeat good sir! Weather is the among the default cards that Now shows if it doesn’t have any other cards for you. In fact, it shows it all the time pretty much. You don’t have to travel to a new place for it to show up.

Considering how iOS got the amazing ‘Maps App’ ahead of Android, it worries me that I saw the first ever mention of SMS integration on an iOS thread. But FUD and negativity aside, I’d say this deserves a ‘Whoa & Yay’

Notice how the ‘Now Playing’ screen can be swiped up from the bottom of the screen and swiped down! Better yet, notice how you can swipe left or right for Next and Prev tracks? Mind. Blown.

I got tired of ranting about it but, My point exactly! Music should always be a basic priority that works like a dream, out of the box. Now, the N4 has a decent pair of official earphones but I can’t skip tracks or +/- the volume with it? That’s too sad for words!

there was an article on the Verge over the weekend (sorry for no link) about how these chat clients are geographically divided. Kik is big in the US apparently while Viber is big in India and WhatsApp in the Middle East etc..

Question: I thought I read somewhere that the source released to AOSP doesn’t contain the full suite of Google apps. Isn’t this the same source that OEMs work off of?
