I’m apparently the only person here less than enthused by this. Don’t get me wrong, it looks cool and I’d love to play with it, but it seems a bit “clunky”? You need that reflective surface, you need the glasses with dual projectors and I’m just not convinced the final result is worth all that effort.
I don’t know about that. I get the feeling that Google has run out of time a bit and this year’s I/O will be somewhat lesser than previous years (At least in terms of big announcements) however at the same time I think Google has kept a lid on whatever they’re working on, enough that we’ll be pleasantly surprised. I mean, do we know anything about 4.3 aside from its existence?
This is exactly how I feel. I want something that’s as simple and basic as Google Reader – just a list of feeds that have articles unread (hide the ones that don’t) and a list of articles within those feeds. Simple. That’s all I want and I’ve yet to find a single RSS replacement like that. Feedly is the closest but it still has a few niggles that I hate.
