I understand when developers ask people not to submit bug reports or turn to name calling in the comments but i find it almost as bad when they bash one-star reviewers in the description section of the app.
No, there should not ba a way to stop one star reviews. I recently had a problem with an app that was supposed to do scheduled messaging. It was supposed to send a Facebook, Twitter, G+ or SMS messages at a certain time you queued it inside the app. The problem was, at least with the SMS part of it that after the set time was reached the message was not deleted so it was being sent over and over again. A relative called me after two days to ask why i sent a message 50 times and then i found out the app was at fault. If i wouldn’t have found out, i would have been over my sms allotments a week into using the app by virtu of that sms being sent to that person again and again. I dread to think what would have happened if i used it with more than one.
The app has since been fixed, but that behaviour honestly does deserve a 1* review, same as some other apps, like Outlook.com for Android that fails to log in.
But is a tool like Flashgot able to download the file/cached copy? I can’t test it because spotify is not available over here. If the answer is yes then nothing has been really fixed.
What if some levels are on a device but not on the other? Will those missing from device B show up as not completed on device A? What else am i not thinking about? Or is this only availabel for the platforms that have the complete library (ios, android and maybe a couple more) in which case it’s not really across all my devices is it?
Sadly not all apps can be installed on the sd. And those that can only really have their configuration files inside /external_sd. Games are even worse. I have only known two games that upon install ask you where their files are to be installed. The rest have their com.×.y.z directories inside the built in memory,
I hope this was a test to see if they can coherenlty manage the devices, and maybe later they would send more specialized devices that could run android but aren’t really phones. Probably it was cheaper with those ancient phones.
Wouldn’t Nokia hire someone with an DSLR to take those pictures and pass them as Lumia ones? As long as it would cost them less NASA would be ok with that, i think.
