Because they definitely didn’t announce today that their new Sims game won’t have that requirement. One instance and suddenly they’ve become addicted to putting ‘always-on’ DRM
I’m not an EA lover but I just don’t think we should hate on something when we’ve seen nothing much of it.
Why are people hating on this? Clearly EA are putting their top developers on this, it’s not like they’re getting some B-grade team to work on it. Bioware made KOTOR3, DICE made Battlefront 3 and a Star Wars horror game from Visceral could all be great titles.
Something to do with the back-end system not able to process data from other countries at the moment. My main problem is how the article doesn’t say that it’s actually only available for the US and Canada.
