Olympus are now just slapping a texture on top, the worst kind of design. They did great things when they introduced the first digital PENs but they’ve pretty much sat on their hands since then. Fuji went a bit further than just the aesthetic, with the physical controls and operation of the camera. Can’t really compare the two.
If you look at Olympus’ lower-end PENs, they have more ‘modern’ designs and they are some of the blandest cameras on the market. Sony are going full contemporary and doing a fantastic job.
