With respect, you don’t know completely how “free speech” works in the US. Those people are forced to have limited exposure and not permitted to speak outside from normally tacitly acceptable places. I am not a racist in any way, I’m not shy to say I support suppressing their speech, however, this is purely a philosophical exercise. Google: Free Speech Zones, and click on the “Criticisms” link in the index of the Wikipedia article.

This is exactly what Thomas Jefferson said. You know what? Jefferson said that as punishment for people who use freedom of speech to slander others is flogging! But I think us “modern” people know better than a founding father.

If you actually read anything and educate yourself you would learn that in Islam, it is forbidden to draw the Prophet Muhammad because of fear of people worshipping the image rather then worshipping God. This is idolatry and is in the Christian as well as the Jewish traditions. For this, in Islam it is forbidden to draw not only him, but Jesus, Moses, David, Solomon, Noah, Abraham, etc.
People need to understand, regardless of the global interconnectedness of Twitter and Facebook, people have their own beliefs and traditions and way of life. People need to stop making and expecting other people’s countries to be and act like America or the West in general.

I just switched to FiOS here in Boston from Comcast. The internet is awesome and has never crapped out once. I’m interested in maybe bumping it up to 75mbps.

If Apple can sue over something so subtle, then I think Google should patent troll the hell out of Apple for the notification bar, which is not an insignificant feature. This would completely destroy Apple’s notification center.

So, is this for people who don’t currently have a 4G phone only?

What is your evidence that it is a hoax? Because the way the carriers have been fighting tooth and nail over spectrum doesn’t seem like a hoax.

I think that is hard to do because Apple may have some kind of patent over IPS technology which makes it hard for companies like Samsung to not use pentile.

I suppose if they made it black it would look better? I just don’t understand why they can’t get away from plastic. Am I missing something? I know people say the plastic is better for when the phone is dropped. I understand that, but that shouldn’t be a reason for not putting a “higher quality” material. Phones are not made to be dropped.

Not just that, but carriers, like Verizon, lose a lot of money on the iPhone. Coupled with the fact that Verizon stopped investing in their 3G network and all Apple does is release 3G products thus far.
4G LTE is cheaper, reliable, and the network isn’t clogged. Carriers really do not like the iPhone. The market forces them to sell it. But I think that might change when Apple introduces their own network and maybe remove their products from the carriers all together.
Who knows.

Simply put, Samsung failed – HARD. They had everyone where they wanted them, so many people were looking forward (and maybe still are) to the S3, myself included. They had the hype, the attention, the curiosity, everything, and they blew it.
One of the rumors that were circling around the internets were that because the SII did so well, Samsung did not want to make any major changes to its successor, fearing a loss of users. Unfortunately, this was one of the rumors that were true.
