I’ve got 20 something gigs of music that I expect to be able to take with me on my WP (which has less storage). I’m not prepared to push it all up to the cloud and then download it all to my phone as I want it. I’ll trickle it up to the cloud as a backup, but for keeping my collection fresh on my phone I want to be able to use a tethered connection.
Your use of the phrase “the numbers don’t back you up” without putting forth any actual numbers followed by an assertion based on those numbers totally changed my mind. Well played. In fact, it was so compelling that I bought your original line “As a group, they are far less expensive than Americans as far as social costs go.” as well, despite my lyin’ eyes.
I’m guessing you don’t live in Arizona and that you aren’t friendly with any illegals. While many come to work, those that don’t have access to vast networks where they train each other how to work the system to get as much free aid from the government as possible. The methods are well known in the illegal community and those that choose to do little or nothing can do so. I’ve had long discussions with guys who I play soccer with. They aren’t ashamed about it.
