There have been recorded incidents of manipulation and attacks to alter the price. If you look at the swing it is not a normal market move or adoption.

Net effect is the same sure, but the motivations have some different root causes. Of course you have the third group which denies purely to ensure economic survival in the short term.

No it is not. I was going on a tangent I guess in that there are many things can kill you that we knowingly ingest.

Most of them have no worse effect than anything else. There are studies which show this.

Nope. The lefties who are wignuts tend to have this weird new agey thing going on usually where they are into the whole noble savage thing or some weird “nature is perfect” thing. On the right it’s usually more along the lines of “you hate god because you use science which contradicts my world view.”

Or drinking a beer. Alcohol is a poison as well. Water in high doses will kill you too.

You know chemicals are normally natural substances too right? The whole “All natural” thing is mostly BS.
Also things like hemlock are natural but will kill you. It’s a mostly meaningless word.

And they have blocked WP users in the past. And it could be argued that they are using this to keep smaller players out of the market. The arguments would have some weight. You have to look at this from a perspective of possible arguments not what you think is happening.

It may because of Android. They are using their monopoly in the online video space to push android by purposely taking actions to hurt WP.

Google already blocked WP8 from some of their services once. That’s not a real answer.

This would be a prime example of how a free service in a monopoly position could be abused. Google does not want a court battle after they just got some regulators off their back.

Airplay will push via the app, it’s not playing the video format it is redirecting the display so format does not matter. You can rent on the computer and transfer to another device. It doesn’t work the reverse way from what I recall.
Also you experience was good but that is not standard. Getting it to work on a PS3 is a nightmare, as was getting xbox to work with prior versions of Windows.

The iPhone represents a specific set of compromises. The first was the acknowledgement of the fact that a phone is not used like you do a desktop computer and the input method needs to be tailored to the device. No pointer beyond your finger. Also they made other compromises. Limited FS access, making it a black box, sacrificing what can do in terms of multitasking for system stability and battery. It’s a study in compromise. The implication that compromise is a bad thing is a bad one imho.

I’ve had this discussion with some forex traders and brokers and bitcoin is a lot like forex. You’re right it’s mostly speculation which is not like a normal currency. Those really into it remind me of the gold standard people.

It’s like Google TV except it also will play the new xbox games. It’s interesting but I don’t think it is killer. The voice control is kind of cool though. That said I may get one if the games are good.

It works but not as well. Enabling Airplay is basically saying “yes i want it on” and you are done. There is no configuration of note. DNLA is very device dependent on the setup.

I this case it’s not about morality. The tax system is designed to be gamed, apple knows how to game it well. They also pay a lot in taxes. More than most others, you have large corps that pay no taxes in the US even though they are based here.
