To be honest, I suspect that I’ll get the new iPhone toward the end of the year. My current iPhone 4s is on its last leg so I’m looking for something to fill in the gap that I will probably resell when I get the iPhone. But who knows, maybe I’ll love Windows Phone.

I’m in the U.S. I get reasonable coverage on AT&T and T-Mobile, but I will be buying this unlocked since I only need it for a few months.

Ah, the old “poorly lit python screenshot.” Behind only “Shall we play a game?” and “No more secrets” in the list of rallying cries of nefarious hackerdom.

A pyramid scheme is a particular type of fraudulent activity. Bitcoin is not an example of a pyramid scheme, even if it turns out to be fraudulent (which it has not been shown to be, yet).

How is a “currency”, backed by nothing, founded by an anonymous person or collective, used extensively in illegal transactions, where the creator(s) have siphoned off hundreds of millions of dollars from it NOT shady?
This describes many, many currencies.

Except that negative numbers are annoying for typical things. Think quick: what’s 10% hotter than -20? The answer is not -20 × 1.10, like it is for 10% hotter than 20 degrees.
I was mostly joking about Fahrenheit being the bestest, but your response isn’t the reason I was joking.

It is a proven fact that there are no bakers in Europe, and as such, no containers hold 13 items.

Fahrenheit is exactly the temperature scale we should be using for most humans (who only care about the temperature to the extent that it affects what they wear). Allow me to illustrate:
