I think what will happen eventually is that your car will just act as a dumb terminal. Your smartphone can connect wirelessly via vnc or similar to provide access to media, navigation or any installed apps. When you upgrade you phone you effectively upgrade your car’s systems too as all the intelligence is there.

This is the first camera to tempt me to upgrade from my Oly E-620. Mainly because I can still use my awesome 4/3rds Panasonic-Leica 25mm prime lems (albeit with an adaptor).
