I installed it for the first time tonight, and can’t even get the channel to load. It just sits there displaying the “This is my next Channel” graphic.

The legitimate cuts were when Paul’s phone number was for some unknown reason flashed up. As for the rest, having heard it described, I ended up glad I didn’t have to watch those parts, shame it had to happen that way though.

I’m sure length had absolutely nothing to do with it. It’s never stopped them before.

I’m intrigued by this new Sony Vaio Fit line that there was an article about yesterday. One of them was between 5 and 600 in the base config. I think they’ll be available later this month, but info seems limited as yet.

I perhaps see your point for this particular project.

I would give anything though to have the US TV market more closely ressemble that in the UK, where public interest is the order of the day. After four years living here, I am so sick of cable/cable-delivered ad-supported major networks that I cut the chord and got a Roku recently.
