Thank you for your reply, but that is not what I’m looking for. I have updated my post and added screen shots so it would be easier to understand what my post is about.

Well, some people like it because it suits them the best. I’m one of them. It has everything that I need (sure, it’s not a prefect device) and it is a pleasure to use (most of the time). When I switched to iPhone from my Sony Ericsson c510i I was taken away by the retina display, and I still am. I just don’t see how can you get bored of a great display.
And how is getting photos from iPhone to your computer over complicated? iCloud can do it for you, or you can just plug it in the computer and use iPhoto/Image Capture to transfer them. I don’t know how that works on Windows, maybe it is more complicated, but I really hope it isn’t. And of course apps would crash, you have to remember thata iPhone is not a perfect device. They crash on me sometimes, but very rarely, so for me it really isn’t an issue. About Siri, it might be a “bloody gimmick” to you, I have an iPhone 4 so I can’t use it, but I’m sure that many people find I helpful. I think that Siri can be super useful once Apple release Siri API (if they ever do it).
I could say that I don’t understand why others like Galaxy SII, because I don’t use and I don’t find it appealing. But I understand that someone likes to have a bigger screen, more options to customize…
At the end, we all have a choice to use what we like the most, and it’s a great thing.

It looks to me that you wrote this post just to tell us that you don’t need an iPhone, so rest of us don’t need it either.

Sorry, I missed that if. But again, it is not a good example. FCP X is paid application, so even if there was auto-update, it would at least tell you that you are about to update your application and pay 300$ for it.
This is what I would like to see in Mountain Lion (I didn’t read much about it, maybe it already exists):
updates are all downloaded automatic, you get the notification about it in notification center, it takes you to the app store to see change log and presents you two options, install or don’t install.

But FCP X isn’t update for FCP 7. It is entirely new application.
